Part of this trip was to get away from the computer and 'unplug' from the grid. However, with my new blogging skills in hand (thanks Ryan, I think) my thoughts turn toward, where might I find internet access next?This post comes courtesy of the Regina Public Library system. That's right, I've made it to the Queen City!
The last few days have been quite interesting, I resisted the temptation to go to Saskatoon 2 days ago while in Canora, SK. The wind was howling from the east and I could of done 30kph easily, the same east wind is blowing hard again, its not helping much because I've been heading south. Why ignore the temptation to go Saskatoon and use the wind? My gut tells me I'm safer on the #1 with a divided hwy and good shoulders. The road from Fort Qu'Appelle to Balgonie was brutal (busy, bad shoulders, loose gravel, etc), very happy to be on the #1.
A shameless plug for Little Nicks Family Restaurant, Balgonie, SK great food, lots of it, cheap, and they filled up my water bottles with ice!
I went to take a photo of the worlds largest antlers in Gorlitz, SK and my camera died, I probably know exactly where those new batteries ended up.... xbox controllers.
